100 for Tash Wakelin on Senior debut

In a highlight performance of the week, Task Wakelin scored her maiden 100 on her debut in Western BOP Senior cricket. Tash has played for the Northern Brave Women's team and NZ U19 and showed she has some real class about here in this knock. She opened the batting with Amelia Harvey and they put on 57 for the first wicket. Tash then saw the team through to withing 5 runs of the target of 182 in what finished as an 8 wicket win. We may not see much of Tash this season as she may be required for higher honours on a more regular basis but we all wish her well for her season ahead and hopefully a very successful future in the game.
